All surgical procedures are carried out in our two aseptic specially designed operating theatres. One particularly used for orthopaedic use only. 

Our enthusiastic veterinary surgeon Jo Mouat, who is currently working towards her certificate in small animal surgery, carries out a range of complex surgical procedures at the hospital varying from Total Ear Canal Ablation (TECA) surgery to airway surgery.

We also carry out at both Whickham and Gateshead practices, routine surgical procedures for example neutering and lump removals.

We have an experienced team of vets, nurses and support staff that continuously strive to provide the highest level of veterinary care after all procedures and during your pets stay with us in the hospital.
